With our renewal in the Spirit of Easter, faithful volunteers with Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish continue preparing for when we might open our parish halls again for gatherings.
Michael Griffin, Knight of Columbus (Father Henry G. Ramage Council 8364), is dedicating himself to renewing Stella Maris Church's Star of the Sea Memorial Hall. He is replacing the lights with LEDs, funded by Council 8364.
He is treating the walls, window casings, and kitchen stairwell.
Before and after photos follow.
He has many more plans in mind!
Michael Griffin grew up in the Stella Maris faith community and with "God’s grace and guidance" he is offering his skills and gifts to renew the church's space. This is with the hope that once we are allowed to gather again, we may renew our faith community's vibrant spirit.
Our Saint Joseph's HOPE Centre and Saint William's Church also have plans for renovating and renewal in gatherings.
We are thankful for the faithful dedication of all our parish volunteers. If you have any ideas for projects you would like to help with in the parish, or if you would like to know how to support our ongoing ministries and projects, please
contact our parish office!
