Jesus stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you...”
Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
“Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in His name to all the nations...
You are witnesses of these things” (Luke 24:35-48)
With the Resurrection and in the Spirit, the Apostles witnessed to the people.
Those seeking to destroy the Author of Life are acting in ignorance, just as their leaders are.
May we repent,
keep His Commandments, and
allow God's Love to be perfected in us (Acts 3:13-19; 1 John 2:1-5).
