The Parish Spring Fling Zoom meeting was held on Sunday, April 18, 2021. There was a good turnout and many stated it was nice to see faces (without masks!)

Everyone introduced themselves to the group - we got to hear some fun facts and were informed about many ministries people are involved in, including:

• Catechism classes
• Alpha (currently taking place over Zoom, information available on the parish website and the bulletin)
• Fundraising and fun at Stella Maris and with the Saint Joseph's HOPE Centre CARE Team
• Saturday Supper, with volunteers cooking hot meals for families
• Avenue B outreach, with volunteers making soup or baking cookies for Avenue B
• Catholic Women's League
• Liturgy team
• Pastoral care, making parish visits to care homes and to shut-ins

New ideas included:

• a parish communications team to help keep parishioners connected through the website and social media,
• new possibilities for a parish youth group, and
• a casual Christian music night in the church
